Thomas Iskandar Shah is a UK Chartered Accountant by qualification and joined the BNP-BMW Group as an External Consultant in1987. He is the main advisor for its future growth and development.
In UK, he has worked for Mr Michael Heseltine, a former UK Defence Minister’s Company, Haymarket Publishing from 1978-1982. He was directly in charge of the Financial Accounting Team of 14 staff and in-directly supervising 60 over staff in the Accounting and Administration Departments.
From 1982 to 1985 he was the Finance Manager of a Dutch Multinational Company in Singapore. In 1985 he also joined the insurance industry as a part-time agent in GEL and became a Group Sales Manager with insurance income alone exceeding $600K. He was also a qualified trainer with the Center of Excellence GEL. He became a self-made millionaire in 1995.
In 2001 during the Asian Recession, his ideas on how to revive the economy were accepted by the Government. He has always been inspired by his mentors, like his late uncle, the First Foreign Minister of Singapore, Mr S. Rajaratnam, and also by the “Founder of Modern Singapore” Minister Mentor Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
Thomas early schooling was in Raffles Institution and he is a life member of the elite alumni, the Old Rafflesians Association. Thomas is also a trained Wealth Dynamics Master Practitioner who has learnt the way to create Wealth by going with the FLOW on the Least Path of Resistance. He has also attended the Entrepreneurs Business School in Bali.
Since 2006, Thomas has also trained more than a thousand Entrepreneurs in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. He has also set up more than 20 projects on a joint venture basis with the Business Mentoring Workshops (BMW) Entrepreneurs. His vision is to reduce poverty by creating many Successful Entrepreneurs who will help to increase income levels and standard of living in the respective countries. He is also a qualified Business Consultant with Spring Singapore, a Government body which helps SMEs in Singapore.

AJ Hameedah joined BNP-BMW Group in 1987 as Administrative Executive and was promoted to Administration Manager in 1989. In 1992 she was promoted to Administration Director. AJ was promoted to Group Regional Director in 2000 and has been the Group CEO since 2006. She is currently the Group CEO – Support Services.
AJ was not only competent in the Administration field, she also has a passion for marketing. To further this passion she is involved in Marketing with specialized training in Real Estate, Insurance, Food Catering and the Fashion Industry. AJ joined GEL in 1994 and became a Top Producer with her GEL Agency with Insurance Income alone exceeding $300K p.a. She became a self-made millionaire at the age of 27.
AJ is a recipient of the International Quality Award and a qualified Consultant Trainer. She is proficient in the Malay and Indonesian languages. She is currently learning Mandarin in preparation for the Groups entry into the China Market.
AJ is an Executive Committee member of one of the Entrepreneurs Association in Singapore as well as being one of the Singapore Country Leaders of XL Results Foundation, a Global Entrepreneurs Group.
AJ believes in Entrepreneurs being the core group to reduce poverty and her vision is to train children and teenagers to be Entrepreneurs. She strongly believes that this will give them a head start in life. It is this belief that has led her to train the young school children for the Young Entrepreneurs Skills Competition (YESCOM). She has also involved the BNP-BMW Group to be a co-organizer for the YESCOM event, involving 40 schools.
Since 2006, AJ has also trained more than a thousand Entrepreneurs in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. She is also involved in more than 20 joint-venture projects.
AJ’s passion for the fashion industry has also led her to organizing various fashion events in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. She has organized fashion events for both children and adults. She intends to have more of these events in other parts of the world including Paris, Tokyo and London.

JUDY McBURNEY,

Judy McBurney holds a Bachelor of Accountancy and Finance Degree (Canada) and a Masters in Economics (United Kingdom) is a MBTI Practitioner and Certified Work-Life Consultant.
She is an entrepreneur with over 27 years of international business experience in Asia, Australia and United Kingdom and has held the position of Country Manager for a SAP Partner in Singapore. She has an extensive knowledge in finance, direct marketing, sales, IT and operational functionalities.
Having successfully operated and run international companies and franchises in addition to training different levels of staff in the areas of customer service, team building and communication skills, she shares the wealth of her extensive business and workplace experiences and discovered knowledge with participants at in-house interactive workshops to assist them to develop their strengths.
Judy’s specialty includes ensuring that internal business operational and human resource training systems are fully integrated with business goals, strategies, and corporate culture of companies and the need for organizations to recognize the importance of financial and knowledge management within their businesses. In addition to her business and consulting experiences, Judy has worked in both operations and human resources and held senior level positions.
Since 2002, she is a speaker and trainer for business organizations and area groups, addressing challenging issues such as understanding the job market and career transition; financial management, employee communications, effective recruiting, interviewing, strategic HR and personal work-life effectiveness.
As one of Ministry of Manpower’s approved Work-Life Consultants, Judy currently provides work-life consultancy and training services to Small and Medium-Size Enterprise.

DENNIS McBURNEY,

Dennis McBurney, born in England and grew up in Australia. He is an Automotive Engineer by profession. He started his career joining the Petroleum Industry under the various branding of TOTAL, BP and Shell. He was actively involved in the Motor Trades Association and held a Directorship for 3 years, representing various related industries at State and Federal levels of Government.
Dennis is passionate, entrepreneurial and professional. He has the ability to identify, plan and develop new opportunities. In his early forties, besides managing his own service stations, Dennis also operated a car wash, automotive repair shop and convenience store. He was instrumental in developing two new franchises in Queensland - New Zealand's Nationwide Service Centers and Subway, Salads and Sandwiches.
He is very resourceful and with his proven track record of over 20 years of franchising and business management environments.
For the last 10 years Dennis has been actively Business Broking various deals throughout Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore. He has been developing new markets consistent with organizational goals. He is a do-what-it-takes person and works well with individuals and groups.
Presently, Dennis and two partners have established ALLEIRA Batik, contemporary elegant fashion boutiques at Stamford House, Robinsons and Takashimaya in Singapore and at Robinsons in Malaysia. Their organizational goal is to develop this Brand into other markets in the Middle East and Hong Kong by 2010.
